Waterstones have some great events on throughout the Summer months for all ages and interests.
Kids Book Club
Wednesday 16th July, 4.30pm
Waterstones are very excited to announce they're starting a book club for kids interested in reading 9-12s books. The very first book will be Dragonborn, the electric new fantasy series for fans of Skandar and the Unicorn Thief and Impossible Creatures.
Summer Story Time
Wednesday 23rd July – Friday 29th August
One of their fabulous booksellers reads picture book favourites, from mermaids to dragons and everything in between – all ages welcome! Every Wednesday and Friday at 4pm.
Scavenger Hunt: Favourite Friends
Tuesday 22nd July – Friday 8th August
Can you find all your favourite friends from your favourite books hiding in the kids’ section? Tick them all off the scavenger hunt sheet for a reward – any time, just ask a bookseller.
Create Your Own Comic Workshop

Their super-popular workshop is back for summer! Do you love graphic novels? Is it time to make up your own character? Come create in-store! Free but please book to avoid disappointment.
Science Fiction Writing Workshop
Saturday 2nd August, 3pm
Kenechi Udogu, winner of the Faber Imagine Futures Prize and author of Augmented, will be there to help you stretch your imaginations and show you what books can do in the world. Can things made up in books really come true? What do you want to see become reality? Come write all about it.
Summer Reading Party: Lottie Brooks

Do you love Lottie? The team are throwing a party to celebrate all of Lottie and especially her latest, Lottie Brooks vs the Ultra Mean Girls. Decorate your own diary (you get to keep it), draw your own
friends, and discuss all things Lottie! Tickets are £3.
